We managed to get the last of the December weddings processed and ready before the end of 2011. All we have to wait for now is the Professional labs to ope so that the preview books can be printed and delivered. It's been a busy end to the year, but one we've enjoyed.
Saturday night and Just back from a brilliant wedding shoot at York with Allison & David.
This wasn't the York Minster type of shoot that people would generally expect. No, this couple had chosen different off beat venues to get the contemporary pictutes that they wanted. The cold weather didn't deter them one bit, they were up for anything. They can't wait to get their pictures.
Now it's time to download and back up all of the images and get the batteries charged for tomorr
This weekend we start with the first of the months weddings with Clare & Keith. We're looking forward to being part of their day.
That's the last of the batteries charged up and all of the lenses polished ready for the wedding tomorrow. There's a few brollies in the car, just in case the weather forecast comes true. Hopefully it won't!
You've been asking us for ages and we've captiulated - Brian Jobson Photography is now on Facebook. After locking Brian in a cupboard and depriving him of tea, we've finally convinced him that joining the rest of us on the world's largest social media site is really a good idea.
So you can see our new and updated facebook page right here - go on, give us a click.
Sharon & James, a great couple that just have fun all day long when they're together. It's all very infectious as well, you come away feeling on a high.
Their wedding was a little further afield than normal. This was all happening at a nice little village called Wetheral and it's just a couple of miles from Carlisle.
It’s not every day that a wedding photographer gets asked to photograph a family wedding for another professional wedding photographer.
Well I was asked to do just that by John Devlin, www.johndevlin.net. His eldest son was getting married at St Johns at Billingham and on to Wynyard Hall for the reception.
Just got back from shooting Hollie & Michaels wedding at the Tall Trees. What a fantastic couple to photograph. They were up for it all and it really comes across on the images. There's a lot of images to go through, but after a quick preview of them, it looks like I'm going to be enjoying enjoy it all. The weather was brilliant all day long for them, so theres a good mix of inside and outside images.
Thanks again to everyone at the Tall Trees for your assistance on the day.
I had the pleasure to be asked to photograph the presentation of certificates and awards by Her Majesty's Lord Lieutenant. The awards were presented to cadets, volunteers and supporting companies. It was a fantastic evening and an honour to be part of it.
Had a fantastic shoot up at Newcastle on Wednesday. Organised by the MPA, we had five fantastic models and numerous locations for us to use. They even organised blue skies and sunshine for us. How good is that! All I have to do now is spend a bit of time editing the images and get some online to let you see. Looks like there's some brilliant images in there. Shouldn't take too long.
Once again thanks to everyone who put a lot of time and effort into making this happen
